JBCN International School, Oshiwara has appointed Gregor Norman Alexander Polson as Head of School. With over 25 years of global education experience across IB and British curriculum institutions, he will lead the school’s next phase of growth, innovation, and holistic development focused on academic excellence and student well-being.
With more than 25 years of experience in the field of education, Polson brings extensive international exposure across leading International Baccalaureate and British curriculum schools spanning Asia, Africa, South America, and the Middle East. Prior to this appointment, he served as Director of Schools at the Riyadh Schools Group under the Misk Foundation in Saudi Arabia, where he led strategic planning, accreditation processes, and community engagement initiatives.
Polson began his career at The Regent’s International School in Thailand and has since held diverse leadership roles, including Chemistry Teacher, Director of Pastoral Care, Secondary Coordinator, and Head of School. His professional journey includes associations with Changzhou Trina International School in China, One World International School, The Mackay School in Chile, and Lagos Preparatory & Secondary School in Nigeria.
Across these global assignments, he has been responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, recruitment, curriculum development, campus redevelopment, and institutional marketing. He is widely recognised for founding schools, securing accreditations, driving institutional growth, and fostering inclusive and high-performance learning environments that prioritise student development and well-being.
Polson holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Educational Studies from the University of Bath, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Applied Chemistry from Robert Gordon University, and a Diploma in Education (International Schools) from Oxford Brookes University.
